The Israel Museum in the Sunday New York Times

On Sunday, July 14 the New York Times featured an article, "A Haven National and Universal: The Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Renewed", by Edward Rothstein. The article featured prominently in the Arts Section as well as the on-line edition.

Appearing close to two years after the inaugural of the renewed campus, it reflects in a very thoughtful way the re-invention of the Museum. Rothstein points to three areas of focus at the museum - Archeology, Jewish Art and Life, and Fine Art.
