Jewish Charity - Canadian Friends of the Israel Museum

On May 11, the Israel Museum’s 46th birthday, the Canadian Friends of the Israel Museum and the Royal Bank of Canada hosted  more than 100 CFIM Annual Partners to view RBC’s Corporate Art Collection. Atop the fortieth floor of the bank’s south tower, the enthusiastic guests heard opening remarks by CFIM Co-Chair Wendy Eisen and enjoyed cocktails and a dinner topped by a delicious and gorgeous birthday cake.  Highlighting the evening was a talk by pre-eminent New York attorney Lawrence Kaye on “Art and Treachery: Recent Developments in Art Theft, Looting, and Recovery,” presented by Christie’s Canada.
